SELĒKU LAKE ( 4KM)

Selēku lake is a water body in the north-west of city Ogre in a pine forest. The banks are low, the bottom is muddy.
The northern side is swampy, the southern side is hard, sandy. Water exchange through ditches with Ežupi and Urga.
Selēkas is a settlement on the west coast. 
Macrophytes: lichens, amphibian shrew and sedges.

River Little Jugla (10m)

Little Jugla is a river in Latvia. It starts in Taurupe parish and ends by meeting with the Great Jugla.
The river is popular among water tourists. It is mostly navigable during periods of high water and after heavy, prolonged rains. It has the possibility of fishing.

Backyard Zoo Brieži (10.3km)

The backyard zoo was founded in 2013. We offer you to spend a great day visiting the backyard zoo very close to Riga with your family and friends. Here you can find many different decorative birds, turkeys, ducks, pheasants, peacocks, guinea pigs and rabbits live among them. Among the four-legged friends, you can meet Dutch pygmies, Haidschnuke sheep, Shetland ponies, a donkey, squirrels, a wallaby and Barney the raccoon boy. A flock of geese and a Peruvian pygmy pig - Pigis, help protect the zoo. Since 2015, fallow deer and Munžak, the oldest deer in the world, also live in Brieži.
